• Extensive experience in the construction of Oil & Gas Plants, Petrochemical and Industrial Plants including related facilities. Ample experience in onshore Pipeline projects. Familiar in Project Management and able to supervise multi-discipline and multi-cultural group.
• Familiar in the application of International Standards; ANSI/ASME Standards, API, MSS-SP and other standards and specifications. Familiar with other major company standard and specifications for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Industries.
• Design - Contribute directly to construction engineering in the resolution of technical design problems. Experienced in trouble shooting in construction problems and difficulties due to discrepancies in design, space or material availability. Can provide recommendation in the modifications for best solution without jeopardy to quality and minimal delay to enhance site activities.
• Design – Conceptual design and procurement. Ensure to meet the deliverables target. As Piping engineer, to contribute in the layout of equipment for proper piping routing and arrangement for accessibility. Checking the isometrics and bill of material. Provide proper specifications from selected line classes and project standards. Selection of valves from the vendors, piping specialties. Coordinate with other disciplines for instruments and electrical hook-ups.
• Generates and/or review Test Packages for Pre-commissioning activities based on System Definitions by the Commissioning Group. Approve, witness or conducts pressure testing of piping systems. Generates punch list prior to testing and final system walk down prior to acceptance of the project.
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to Oil & Gas or other Petrochemical industries. Familiar in ISO 9001..
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety, other worker’s safety and safe working practices for the project. Understand and follow Iso-14000 and OH&S procedures.
• Interface with clients, contractors or sub-contractors for smooth operation of the project. Coordinates and liaise with involved disciplines. With ample knowledge in Civil and Electrical construction.
