Southwest Road Network Development Project. Contract No.-5 (29.5 km long road section of Dhaka – Khulna high way), At Bagerhat district, Bangladesh. Total cost $16.7M

• Subsoil investigation work in the project area and analyzing those data for the suitability of road construction along soft ground and using those soils in the road embankment. Dealing with the nature of soft organic ground and ground improvement work by preloading technique.

• Construction supervision of office building.

• Construction supervision of 47 nos. road structure (17 nos. PC Girder single span bridges and 29 nos. Box Culvert). Analyzing the adequacy of pile foundation for those structures.

• Calculation of tendon elongation, deflection of girder due to post tensioning, dead weight of girder and deck slab etc. thereby calculating pre camber.

3) From April 1999 to January 2001 :

1998 Flood Damage Rehabilitation Project at Feni district, Bangladesh. (Total cost =$7.2M)

Responsibility :

• Engaged for supervision of Construction and rehabilitation work of 6 km long damaged road/widening of road, 7nos. double span Bridges and culverts.

Jamuna Multipurpose Bridge Project at Tangail district, Bangladesh. (5.8 km long main bridge + 2*128 m long viaduct).

• Supervision of construction of pre cast segments of box girder (total 1200nos.). Construction supervision of box girder segments for approval for next stage construction work, elongation calculation and monitoring of transverse tendons.
• Crack repairing works for pile cap shell and pier.

• Supervise gas pipe re-installation work.



5) From October 1994 to February 1996:

Name of the project : Rural Development Project-13 at Sherpur district, Bangladesh. Total cost = $23.6M

Responsibility :

• Supervision of 11nos. bridges (total 695m), both R.C.C. and PC. I Girder bridge with pre-cast and cast-in-situ pile (with permanent casing) and caisson, 14km long roadwork (widening and new construction) etc.
