Experience In addition to drafting and design responsibilities I held a position as a Team Leader responsible for a drafting team and coordinating drafting / design projects from engineering to the issuing of
drawings to the customer and to the fabricators.
While working with Braden, I was assigned to the position of Sourcing Quality Manager, operating in proactive manner coordinating information between Braden, customer and foreign fabricator/installer to direct and guide assigned overseas subcontracted fabrication and installation projects. Assisted and directed fabricators and installers to ensure the use of proper materials, procedures and processes and ensured that Braden and customers quality requirements were met. Ensured that schedules and delivery commitments were kept. Provided guidance to the fabricator interpreting instructions, fabrication prints and procedures for fabricating or installation of Braden products. Duties consisted of troubleshooting and resolving problems involving fabrication, scheduling, materials, logistics, shortages, manpower or any other problems that arose. I was also responsible for keeping U.S. and Europe offices informed of the status of projects, any problems and corrective actions taken. Foreign assignments included Eastern Europe, China and Mexico.
