• Provided DOE at Elk Hills with reservoir engineering and economics support to assist in sale of field. Modeled effects of various factors on operating costs to predict when fields’ economic limit would occur.
• Conducted feasibility study for newly discovered heavy oilfield in Colombia.
• Performed reserve analysis, reservoir field studies and provided litigation support for various clients at Midway Sunset, Placerita and Arroyo Grande in California.
• Evaluated economic performance of new well drilling programs, managed reserves, conducted reservoir field studies and proposed development plans for Appalachian basin operators.
• Conducted major field study of Devonian Shale in Big Sandy field in KY. Created type curves for various shale completions. Determined remaining reserves and designed statistical model to predict gas production vs. line pressure.
• Screened various companies for potential acquisition and recommended takeover bids to management in California, Appalachian basin and offshore Gulf Coast.
EXPERIENCE Various Major Oil Companies
1975-1988 Senior Evaluations Engineer
Shell Oil, Occidental Petroleum and Tenneco Oil
