Currently assigned to the EPCM HSSE department. My duties consist of the inspection load testing and approval of all site cranes and lifting equipment.Allso heavy equipments and plant Also review and approval of all lifting plans and rigging studies. Over see all heavy haulage movements the total number of equipment involved at worksite is around 4,000 plus 345 cranes 8t -1750t which needs to be inspected on quarterly basis. Daily spot checks at worksite covering the safety aspects as well as spotting any potential near-misses. Involved in investigating any site incident related to lifting and heavy equipment. Competency assessments of crane operators and riggers Daily inspections of all lifting equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out under Permit. Also working closely with HSSE to ensuring that all work complies with Civil & Marine Safety Standard’s B.S. SOLAS and LOLER Supervision of all heavy lifts.
